#Chapter53 KYLE I glance sideways at her, and I want to poke at her mind and the thoughts that reside inside. I want to know the meaning of all of this but something about her closed demeanour stops me from voicing my thoughts. I get the feeling that she needs my silent support and for me to not interfere too much so I guess that’s all I’m going to do. I have already promised her and it is way too early to break my promises to her. Much too soon, we arrive at her home and I’m surprised to see that there are lights on inside the house. I open my mouth to question her about it but before I can say anything, she cuts me off. “You promised me that whatever happens, you’ll not interfere. I need to go inside now. I’ll be back out soon.
