Zion had been cured for a long time. It was just that he was the only one still clinging to the past.
"So? How was it?" Wilfred asked.
Wilfred grew anxious. "What did it look like? Tell me about the visuals! What did you see in there?
"Was it really as vivid as real life? Did you dream about the past?"
He fired off questions one after another.
Zion barely spared him a glance. "We can talk about it later. I've got something more important to do."
Wilfred was caught off guard. "More important? What could possibly be more important than your wife?"
"Getting her breakfast."
Wilfred was speechless.
Without another word, Zion turned and walked straight out of the lab.
"Hey, don't just leave like that!" Wilfred called after him, but Zion didn't so much as pause.
"Come on, I spent 20 years on this! At least give me some feedback!"
Wilfred stared at the half-empty vial in his hand, and he turned to Sheldon with a sly grin.
"Well, Mr. Hackett? Want to give it a shot?"
