Zion didn't want to explain anything. The years behind him were just that—behind him.

"Zion, some things have to be made clear." Maeve said softly, "You can't just end a relationship on your own terms."
She gently patted the back of his hand, and Zion lowered his gaze before slowly releasing his grip.
