Zion's lips brushed Maeve's in a soft, lingering kiss.
The warmth of the bathroom steam clung to their skin, and Maeve's cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of crimson.
Zion's voice was low. "Darling… don't you think it's time to pay me back—with interest—for the wedding night we skipped?"
"D-Don't push your luck!" Her face burned. "Once! Just once!"

She turned her head, only to meet Zion's gaze.
She scowled in exasperation. "Zion, I swear… I'm sleeping in a different room from now on."
"There's only one master bedroom, sweetheart. You're stuck with me—forever." With that, Zion's arms tightened around her like a trap.
