Kurt took a deep breath.
It was probably that troublemaker Zion's doing again.
What was Liam even doing here on such a joyous day? Every time Kurt laid eyes on him, he believed that he was up to no good again.
"Mr. Spencer Senior, it's a day worth celebrating, and Mr. Larson's here to offer his congratulations. Isn't it wrong to turn him away?"
"Exactly, Mr. Spencer Senior. Why not let Mr. Larson in for a drink to celebrate?"
Hearing everyone around him trying to convince him, Kurt realized it wasn't worth ruining such a beautiful day over Liam. He sighed but said nothing more.
With Kurt's approval, the bodyguards that had been blocking Liam's path stepped aside.
"Mr. Larson, your seat is over here," the butler offered.
Liam barely glanced at the businessmen nearby, but that was enough to send them scattering like mice before a predator.
He scanned the hall before pointing at Kurt's table. "I'll sit there."
