Zion's men pushed the customers from the back room forward.
Zion looked at them and said, "Take them to the police station and have Richard handle the questioning."
"Understood."
As groups of customers were led away, Zion glanced at the staff pinned to the ground. "Are you going to speak up, or should I make you?"
"I'll talk!" one of them quickly said. "Mr. Spencer, a few of us at the docks were just trying to earn some money. Someone mentioned that businessmen were investing in an arcade.
"They said if we paid the franchise fee, we could run it without worrying about renovations or equipment.
"But there's an unwritten rule—only locals from Seathburn City can join, and they need connections…"
"You mean they have to be tied to me, right?" Zion pressed.
"Well, not just you… the Hackett family, the Foster family, the Jansen family—even the Scott family…"
The man couldn't bring himself to meet Zion's gaze.
Maeve felt a chill. It was clear someone was trying to set them up.
