Linda's gaze at William was so icy it made his heart ache.
"Zack, I need to rest," she said, feeling weak and as if she might collapse at any moment. The chill that enveloped her body reminded her of four years ago—the same piercing cold she felt when she lost her child.
She believed she had become strong over the years, but now, she was just as vulnerable as ever. She remained constantly reliant on her family.

Seeing how pale she looked, Zack quickly called Julie to help Linda to the room. William tried to follow, but Zack blocked his way.
"Mr. Wilson, Linda has finally put her life back together. Please let her go in recognition of the help Felix Group extended to Wilson Group back in the day. She's truly exhausted.
