After changing into their formal wear, Linda and Samson got into another car heading to the dinner venue.
"I don't think I've asked you. Whose dinner is this?"
"My mom's best friend's son's engagement dinner. It's the Ashford family from Easton Vale."
Samson wasn't very familiar with his parents' acquaintances. After taking over the company, most of his focus had been on business rather than socializing.
Many of the current business collaborations had been established for years. So, he wasn't worried about losing projects if relationships weren't solidified.
He preferred not to engage with unrelated people, and his parents never forced him to do things he disliked. But attending dinners like this was not a big issue. He just had to make an appearance.
