Chapter 101
Linda always felt refreshed after chatting with Luke. Perhaps it was because he was a mentally stable man.
It was deep winter in Osmo, and the evening breeze could chill one to the bone.
Linda wanted to look good and didn't wear much. As she stepped out of the restaurant, she hugged her coat tightly against the wind.
Luke handed her car keys to the doorman. "Linda, you're truly stunning."
Linda raised an eyebrow. "And?"
"And you absolutely don't need to prioritize style over warmth.
"Seriously, even a big man like me feels cold in this wind."
Linda remained silent. She wasn't as concerned about it anymore.
At least she wasn't wearing skirts in the dead of winter.
The doorman brought the car around, and Linda moved to the driver's side, but Luke blocked her, opening the passenger door.
"Linda, please."
Linda didn't refuse. She preferred not to drive unless necessary, especially with a driver available.
"Fasten your seatbelt. I rarely drive sports cars like this."
