The Greenhouse

The wedding between Tom and Catalina was luxurious. I saw the glass greenhouse on the lawn right after I got off the car.  Given this greenhouse, I knew why the preparation of this wedding had cost more than one year. Today, Simon, Jacques, and Opal wore well-cut suits.  They looked more elegant than usual. At the sight of Opal and me, Jacques immediately walked over. "Sis, you are here, finally." "We had a finger-guessing game yesterday to decide whose sister you would be today. Who do you think is the winner?" I beamed. "You." Jacques wouldn't look so proud if he lost the game.  Jacques placed his hand on my shoulders smugly. "Come, come, come. Remember that you are my little sister today, Kelly." "Fu*k off!" Opal flung that male hand off my shoulder. "Her real brother is here. Don't be ridiculous." "Guys, stop arguing. Where is the bride? I can't see her." I interrupted the argument.  This was a wedding. What a shame that the men argued here! "The bride?" Jacques made good use of hi
