The Kiss in the Garden

Pulling Carroll by the arm, I asked, "Do all the beautiful people look similar to each other?" "No, you and I don't look alike!" Pointing at the shadows, stretching under the sun, Carroll began to tease me. He was right. One shadow was long, and the other one was short. They looked like an adult and a kid.  I pouted unhappily. "Great! Otherwise, the outsiders will mistake you for my father!" "I don't mind you calling me dad!" Carroll stopped and handed me a pair of binoculars. "The garden isn't far away!" No way, no way! In a prosperous city like Costsley, how could one need a pair of binoculars to look around his garden? Marveling at the size of the garden, I found that the whole mountain was the garden Carroll talked about.  "Carroll, why don't you let Wolfie run in the mountain? It is a wolf anyway. It loves nature." Carroll put me into a sightseeing vehicle. "Like you, Wolfie doesn't like walking. "After its last return to the mountain, it dislikes nature." Carroll drove me to the
