When Ruby said that, her voice softened, and her bravado faded.
"Allen, let's go to your house and talk things over there," Liam suggested everyone go to Allen's house and have a proper conversation.
Just then, Bailey looked toward Mark. Liam immediately introduced him and Clara.
Bailey's expression softened. She said to Mark with an apologetic tone, "Mr. Fowler, I'm sorry. Uncle Liam brought you all this way only to have you witness such a scene. If you don't mind, please come to our home for a cup of coffee."
She knew that Liam had brought Mark because he suspected she and Allen were under some supernatural influence, which was causing them to treat Ruby poorly.
