Victoria hung up the phone and tidied her hair in the mirror. Then, she walked back toward Howard with a gentle and lovely smile. In the short span of slightly over a month, she went from losing her silk scarf to having a few more chance encounters with Howard. With her hard-to-get attitude, as well as her beautiful appearance, she grasped Howard's heart step by step. By then, their wedding had been decided. It would be held that weekend. At first, Victoria was a little reluctant to hook up with such an old man just because Zoey had ordered her to do so. However, she had to do it because Zoey had full control over her. Right then, however, Howard, who had taken the bait, was totally smitten with her. He spent a lot of money on her. One day, he would buy her a bag worth hundreds of thousands, and the next, he would buy her the same amount in jewelry. He basically gave her whatever she wanted. It turned out that this was the life of a rich and powerful wife. It was extravagant and enjoya
