A Vast Sea of Dark Ink
"Holy cr*p! What's going on here?"
George nearly jumped out of his skin. After all, the situation unfolding in front of his eyes was strange, reeking an extraordinary mystery that sent chills down his spine.
It was eight in the morning, but the sky was as dark as a dense pool of ink!
When they had been busy fighting the mutants earlier, everyone lost track of time. It felt as if the battle had lasted forever. Only now did they realize that while time had not changed, the world seemed to have transformed around them.
Hugo's expression grew serious. He quickly pulled out his phone and attempted to contact the outside world, only to discover that his phone had no signal.
Others followed suit, taking out their phones and communication devices, but all forms of contact had been disabled.
No wonder there was no contact from outside when such anomalies occurred. As it turned out, all communication devices had been completely disabled and all connections had been severed.
