Emerging From Within

As Lucille issued the command, several gas grenades were hurled into the entrance of the cave. The sound of the grenades rolling in with thumping noises could be heard and were soon followed by sporadic explosions. "Boom!" "Boom!" After a few barrages, thick smoke began to rise from within the cave. Lucille, Hugo, and the rest of the Flame Army donned their gas masks. Lucille's voice muffled through the gas mask, "Continue." At her command, more toxic gas grenades were thrown into the cave. Under such conditions, it was hard to believe anyone inside could still survive! Sure enough, after two rounds of gas attacks, faint noises could be heard from the cave entrance. Those noises grew louder and soon, a head popped out from inside. Next came the second. Then the third. Hugo laughed heartily. "What are you guys waiting for? It's whack-a-mole time!"
