The Truth
The words couldn't be any clearer.
His sister had died a year ago. She had been murdered during her birthday banquet, held underwater until she drowned to death.
No wonder when he'd rushed home back then and seen Lucille for the first time, she insisted that she wasn't his sister. He had simply thought that his sister was being resentful. The last thing he would have expected was that... she was telling the truth.
Yoshua crushed the letter into a ball, his eyes turning red. His heart was filled with a mixture of emotions, sour and throbbing, the discomfort intensifying.

Lucille could already guess why Yoshua was calling. As everything had already been laid out in the open, it would be inappropriate to continue addressing him as though he was her brother. Instead, Lucille said gently,
