Jolene nodded vigorously. "Yes!"
As they continued to enter further into the wilderness, they were surrounded by dense forests with no signs of human activity in sight.
Jolene narrated the outside scenery to her as she sat next to Lucille.
Lucille laughed lightly and uttered in a relaxed tone, "What a perfect place to commit a murder and get rid of the body."
This deserted, mountainous region was devoid of any human presence, making it an area where any action could go unnoticed.
Just as Lucille finished speaking, the driver abruptly stopped the car. The sudden halt and the resulting momentum jerked everyone forward.
Thankfully, with seat belts fastened, no one hit their heads.
Hugo asked, "Why did we stop?"
The driver unbuckled his seat belt, his eyes darting in avoidance as he tried to pretend nothing was wrong. However, his poor acting made the situation quite awkward.
"Well, there seems to be a problem with the car. I'll have a look."
