Unintentionally, Joseph caught sight of the red markings in Lucille's palm. The fine and intricate red lines appeared both strange and complex, extending from Lucille's fingertips to the center of her palm, then creeping towards her wrist. Joseph remembered seeing them on Lucille’s hand a few days ago, but he didn't pay them much mind then.
