Pounced from Different Directions

The chilling screams echoed through the valley. The mutant looked on expressionlessly, his eyes aloof, speckled with a hint of cruelty. Suddenly, two dark figures pounced from different directions! Lucille stepped forward, with a silver flash in her hand, swiftly cutting through the vines tied to the guards. The guards were in too much pain to speak, two were already on fire. Lucille kicked them into the stream and helped extinguish the flames on some lightly injured guards. Thanks to the timely rescue, the bonfire was quickly extinguished.
