Confronting Mutants

Thinking of running away? No way! Lucille rushed out in pursuit, exhausting all her ancient martial arts to its limit. It almost seemed as if she was fly-bouncing off the walls as she weaved her way through a thick patch of vegetation and obstacles! Lucille landed firmly, blocking the mutant's path. The mutant's expression changed drastically, attempting to retreat only to find a man donning a fanged mask, silently appearing behind him, blocking his only escape route. Somewhat surprised, Lucille raised an eyebrow at Joseph's speed. After trapping the mutant, Lucille immediately reached out to pin the man down. Joseph stepped forward, somehow procuring a vine from somewhere, and tied the mutant's arms behind his back. Things were going surprisingly well. So well, in fact, that Lucille found it unbelievable. Just as the thought crossed her mind, the subdued mutant released a shrill shriek. The sound didn't come from his mouth but from his throat. It sounded akin to the roar of a wild bea
