Chapter 46

Josephine's eyes widened. She had completely forgotten about Nicholas.  Thomas Jade and his bad attitude made Josephine inflamed and didn't remember that she came with Nicholas, got out of the car and got into a fight with Thomas, while Nicholas had not left there yet.  She wonders if it's possible that Nicholas saw her arguing with Thomas and gets out of the car angrily, seeing Thomas trying to hurt her.  Josephine thought that Nicholas had purposely not gone and she had waited, to see what would happen between Josephine and Thomas. If Thomas hadn't strangled him and they were just arguing, Nicholas would have probably stayed in the car and not interfered. Thomas' hands on Josephine's neck relaxed. His temples felt cold, taped to an object of iron and Thomas realized that it was a gun. He was breaking out in a cold sweat, his hands were shaking and his knees were weak.  He had absolutely no idea where this big, tall man who had suddenly ambushed him had come from.
