Chapter 6
After she woke up, she immediately sat up and looked around, only to see that it was a luxurious and spacious bedroom. The surroundings were very dark. There was only a simple and elegant floor lamp shining dimly beside the bed.
She removed the quilt and wanted to get out of the bed. However, as soon as her legs touched the floor, she heard a cold voice.
"What are you trying to do?"
She was shocked.
A familiar figure appeared at the door. It was Sam who came in with medicine.
He turned on the lights.
She looked puzzled. She also noticed the man on the corner.
The man in the wheelchair moved closer to the beside.
She looked at her husband, and her heart started to beat rapidly. Her heart was confused.
Edward held her head with his hand, gently touched her forehead, noticing that she was still ill, his forehead creased.
"Why is she still so hot?"
He looked at Sam.
Sam was stunned by the behavior of the president at that moment.
Was the president concerned about the little girl? He thought to himself.
"Do you want me to call Dr. Cui again?" He said.
"No need." Edward answered. At the same time, he took out his mobile phone from his suit pocket and called Dr. Cui in person.
That made Sam gaped at his boss.
After the phone call, a female doctor quickly walked in, skillfully took her body temperature, and examined her body.
She was being examined, and Edward looked at them with a sullen face. The whole room was silent, and Sam on the side was afraid to go out of the atmosphere.
"Sir, how did you find me?" She was fiddled with by the doctor and asked Edward on her side.
He did not answer, but Sam spoke on the side.
"From now on, you are Mrs. Busch. Your husband was going to have breakfast with you this morning, but you have not contacted us the whole day. We thought you had run away, so we went to your place to find you, only to find that you are locked up in the cellar."
She glanced at Edward's face and did not speak.
"Does this man need a wife?" After thinking about it, she still did not dare to say it.
"But how did you get to the cellar, madam?" Sam asked.
She remembered all kinds of things that night, gave a wry smile, and did not answer.
She did not want to say anything but looking at her husband's face, he had already seen through everything.
After her checkup, the doctor called Sam out to take medicine. The room was empty, leaving them both husband and wife.
"You are Mrs. Busch now. No one can bully you. Take care of yourself. If you encounter a problem, find me, and I will solve it for you." Edward said meaningfully while staring at her.
She clutched the quilt, she knew what he meant, but her self-esteem caused trouble. So she said,
"Thank you, Sir, but no one has bullied me."
Her Mother was just eccentric to the point of selfishness. Since she saw her as a tool person, she did not need to care for too much affection.
"Take the opportunity to escape from the Quinn family. Otherwise, I can only become a paving stone for my younger brother's life all my life." She thought to herself.
"I'll go home tomorrow and pack my things." She finally said.
Since she did not want to admit it, he nodded his head. "OK, let Sam send you there tomorrow."
As soon as she entered their house, her Mother pushed Sam out, and then grabbed her ear and shouted.
"You dead girl, you went to a rich man and left our family? I raised you for so many years. If you do not give your brother a house and money, forget our family!"
Her ears were pulled, and she was hurting. She grabbed her Mother's wrist to break free. She did not know where she got all the strength.
She ran back to her room, neatly picked up the box she had packed up the other day, and was ready to go. Who knows what her Mother was planning? She thought.
Her mother saw her holding the box. She went to her angrily and shouted,
"You still dare to go? I raised you! I have spent so much money on you. And you want to leave?" her mother said.
Mrs. Quinn was very hesitant to let her go.
"If you want to go, you can give me back the money I spent on you. You do not have to go back to this home in the future, but you have to pay half for your brother's marriage in the future."
She picked up her mobile phone and knocked with no expression.
"I'm talking to you. You, dumbass. Did you not hear me?"
At that time, she received a message, and it was from Alipay.
"Two hundred thousand, all for you." She said, then she walked out of the room without glancing back.
Edward appeared in the hallway. She was shocked to see him there.
Her mother's voice was already high. He should have heard everything.
She bowed down her head, and her tears flowed freely on her cheeks. She quickly wiped it off and then fled out of the yard.
Sam wanted to chase her but was stopped by Edward. "Bring me a blank check." He said to Sam.
He wanted to clean up his wife's aftermath.
After returning to The Busch family, Natasha went straight to the guest room on the second floor.
Because she worked there before, she was very familiar with the room.
She went in, and Sam followed her. He looked at her and said, "Madam, you will share a room with Mr. Edward. Now I will have someone move your things there."
She muttered in a low voice, "I don't want to live with him."
How is it possible that they were married? They skipped all the processes and lived together. She thought to herself.
"Madam, are you joking?" Sam replied seriously.
Just when he wanted to continue to persuade her, Edward's voice suddenly heard from the door. They both looked back and saw Edward stopped at the door.
"Go out. I will tell her."
Sam nodded and looked at her meaningfully as if to say, "Don't mess with Mr. Busch! Please!"
After Sam left, she glanced at Edward Busch at the door and then stood up.
"What can I do for you, Mr. Busch?"
She thought Edward would also let her move over, but she did not expect what he said next.
"I will go back to my ancestral home in The Busch family tomorrow. Pack up your things and go back with me."
"Ok." She answered vaguely and immediately reacted. "Do I have to move to your house?"
"Suit yourself." After saying a word coldly, Edward Busch left.
