Chapter 95
The students sat through a couple more tests in the following two days. Each time, Lily turned in her paper within 20 minutes. The teachers sighed helplessly when they saw her papers. They all thought, "This kid is a lost cause!"
After the tests, the teachers went to work. The results were out the next Tuesday.
The first lesson on Tuesday was John's math class. He entered the classroom with the marked test papers and a list of class grades.
He placed the papers on the table and picked up the list. With a smile, he announced, "I see an improvement in your scores overall. Anya Mosley has come in first. She scored 733 in math. Her total score across the subjects is 1350, which places her at the 200th place in 12th grade."
Despite that, Anya collected her test papers with a crestfallen look, which attracted Lily's attention. Lily asked, "What's wrong?"
"At 1433, I came in 200th in the entire 12th grade. I guess I'll never get into the University of Bridgeport." Anya seemed really mood
