As soon as they heard that Poppy would be joining them for a meal, both Shaun and Daniel instinctively shuddered. "Can we not? Why don't we order some takeout for her instead?" The fear of being dominated by Poppy still lingered in Shaun's mind. He'd never been intimidated by anyone before he met Lily, but things took a drastic turn after he encountered Lily. He thought Lily was fine since she was quite amiable as long as she wasn't provoked. She'd only torture someone if that person crossed her. Even so, her methods were relatively mild—dislocating limbs only to put them back in place again. It only hurt temporarily. But Poppy was lethal! In fact, Shaun and Daniel weren't entirely powerless against Poppy. They merely endured her antics out of respect for Lily. But Poppy was relentless, to say the least.
