Loid looked at his phone while stealing a few glances at Poppy. He had met her twice before she came to stay at Anmer Heights. The first time was when Poppy wanted to kill herself and the second time was during the night when the unfortunate event happened to Belinda. Loid and Lily were late to the scene that night and didn't see what Poppy did. Loid had always thought that Poppy was a nice and cute girl. It was only today that he saw a different side to her. Poppy must have always hidden her cold and ruthless personality. Loid knew that if he didn't intervene, Poppy would've strangled Yolanda to death. There was a suffocating silence between the three of them. Yolanda was utterly afraid of Poppy and didn't dare say anything, lest Loid kick her out.
