Dorothy knew her place in Raylee’s heart, and that was enough. There was no need for her to say more, nor did she have the strength to. She leaned against Raylee and listened to his voice.
With her last bit of strength, Dorothy whispered softly, “I... love hanging out with you the most, Raylee."
