"If you know you've made a mistake, correct it. There's no greater good than that! You may go."
Wilcox picked up the tender document on the table and browsed it.
Carlie said in a trembling voice, "Mr. Schmidt, you know everything, right?"
Wilcox frowned impatiently. "Did you not understand what I just said?"
Carlie wiped away her tears, turned around, and left silently.
Wilcox leaned on the couch, tapping his knuckles lightly on the table. Coldness flashed across his intense eyes. After a moment, he picked up his cell phone and made a call.
"Wilcox..."
"Uncle Wilfred, when do we deal with Dilbert and his lot?"
"The time isn’t right yet!"
"How much longer?" Wilcox sounded unhappy.
After a moment of silence, Wilfred said, "After three days!"
