Chapter Fifty-Two - Chase
“So, he’s been hiding all of this the entire time?” Liam asked.
I sat back in my chair and nodded. “Apparently, Willow sensed that he was hiding something, but I never guessed it would be something like this. He’s known it was the pack for months. We could have helped him with it, but I know it’s because he feels guilty. He doesn’t want to bring any of us into it. He wanted me distracted so he could go off and avenge his mate alone.”
Liam whistled lowly. “That’s wild, Chase. Poor Willow. She probably feels betrayed. Plus, she’s probably blaming her dad for what happened.”
I could feel the constant push and pull of Willow’s emotions and they were wild. She’d been through enough. I hated she found out this way. But ultimately, her Dad telling her was the best way for it to happen.
Now we had to figure out why Willow felt drawn to this man. Maybe it was a mistake, but her emotions hadn’t been wrong yet.
