Chapter 11
The next day, photos of Nina and Bobby endorsing the brand Young Blood instantly went viral on Twitter. Their good looks got them the third spot on the trending list.
[@PureJoy: These photos are absolutely giving!]
[@DragonBallBoy: Oh my goodness, the two of them are godlike! I'm so jealous!]
[@Summer: I want to see what their parents look like. I'm just kidding!]
[@FallenAngel: These are just children's clothing, but they look so classy on two of them. Is it because they are good looking…]
The thread blew up, and the comments were all about Nina's and Bobby's good looks.
Meanwhile, Jay sat in his room in TG Group's office, and coincidentally, he also saw the trending list.
'These kids look so confident and they are so in sync with each other. They were born for the stage.'
Jay could not help but check them out, not knowing why.
Then, Roger knocked on the door. "Mr. Sullivan, the sales of Young Blood have suddenly skyrocketed. Looks like we've made the right choice by having these two kids become the ambassadors."
Jay nodded, but his gaze remained fixed on the screen.
Roger remembered something else and added, "Also, Emperor Entertainments called today. It seems they want to sign these two kids."
Emperor Entertainments was the largest entertainment company in Ethertown and the only company under the TG Group that was in the entertainment industry.
Many A-list celebrities in the entertainment industry came from Emperor Entertainments. The celebrities that were offered a contract were extremely experienced and would have a bright future ahead of them.
Jay thought to himself before answering, "Let's first ask for their parents' opinions. After all, they are very young, and we shouldn't be the ones making decisions on their behalf."
Roger hesitated. "But their parents' contact details are not available in their profile."
Jay looked up. "No contact details?"
"They provided a phone number, though I'm not sure if it's valid." Roger flipped through the documents in his file and quickly found the anonymous number the two children had provided.
Meanwhile, at Baywatch Villa…
"Darlings, Mommy is going to work now. You must be good at home, and if there's anything, call Aunt Tonya."
Zora put on her shoes and reminded her three little ones before leaving.
Her three children waved. "Goodbye, Mommy!"
Zora blew them a flying kiss and left in a good mood.
As soon as Zora left, the phone rang.
The three little ones walked over to the phone. When they saw it was an unknown number, they all guessed it was TG Group calling. That was because the house phone number was the only phone number they provided.
Tiptoed, Nina pressed the answer button and, in a sweet and childish voice, said, "Hello, this is the Queen's palace. Who is this?"
"I am..." Jay paused for a moment and softened his voice, "The uncle who held you the other day."
"Oh, you're Uncle Handsome!"
"Are your parents at home?"
"Mommy went to work. What's up, Uncle Handsome?" Nina asked curiously.
"Where are you guys? I'll come pick you up." Jay grinned.
Roger could not believe it when he saw Jay smiling and even humbled himself, offering to pick up the children himself. He simply could not believe it.
After getting the address from Nina, Jay picked up his car keys and stood up.
"Mr. Sullivan, how about I go pick them up instead?" How could he let his boss become someone else's driver?
Jay tossed the keys to him. "You're driving."
Roger was speechless.
Roger arrived at Baywatch Villa No. 9 and parked the car outside. Then, the two children walked out with big smiles on their faces.
Deep down, Roger felt conflicted. He wondered if Jay was trying to abduct someone else's children.
Nina and Casper got into the car, and Nina forced her way next to Jay. She had two braids and wore a sunflower print dress, looking extremely adorable.
Casper was dressed in a matching outfit as Nina and accompanied her sister today as Bobby.
"Uncle, where are you taking us?" Casper asked curiously.
Jay hesitated and looked at him. He thought the boy seemed somewhat different from the photos he had seen the day before.
"Have you had lunch yet?"
"Not yet. Uncle, are you going to buy us lunch?" Casper's eyes lit up.
Jay noticed a mole at the corner of his eye, but he could not remember if he had seen it in the photos. He reached out and ruffled his hair. "You were quite wary of me that day."
Casper scratched his ears and stuck his tongue out, saying, "I thought you were a bad person."
"My brother would become very fierce if he thinks you're a bad person," Nina explained on Casper's behalf.
Jay grinned and said to Roger, "To Walt Hotel."
Jay booked up the entire restaurant in Walt Hotel, making them the only guests.
Jay looked at the two kids and smiled gently. "Order whatever you like."
The two children picked up the menu and took a look. The prices of the dishes were sky-high, and Nina pointed to the most expensive item. "Hey, I want this."
"Uhm... then let's get it."
"And this one!"
"Sure, go for it."
"And this one too!"
Casper seemed a bit disgusted. "Do you have a bottomless pit in your stomach?"
Nina turned her head away with a sneer.
'If Bobby was here, he would let me be.'
Jay took a sip of water from the glass as he watched the children. 'The more I look at them, the more I like them. But why?'
The manager stood by their side to take their orders. When the children asked for Australian lobsters, he said hesitantly, "I'm sorry, children, but we've run out of Australian lobsters today. Not only is our hotel out of stock, but other restaurants around too."
"Oh… " Nina looked disappointed.
She loved eating lobsters, just like her mother.
Jay raised his head. "How long does it take to air-freight them from the coastal city?"
Roger was dumbfounded. 'Seriously? Mr. Sullivan is willing to spend money air-freighting Australian lobsters for these two kids?'
'Does he consider them as his own?'
'Though they look rather similar.'
The manager smiled. "Mr. Sullivan, it would take a minimum of two hours to air-freight them from the coastal city."
"Then do it."
"Sure." The manager nodded and left with the orders.
Nina and Casper stared at Jay in amazement. "Uncle, you're so rich!"
Roger was speechless.
'Obviously? He's splurging.'
Jay smiled. "Have you ever thought about entering the entertainment industry?"
"Uncle, is there an entertainment company interested in signing us?" Nina asked with her head tilted.
"Of course, but if you're not willing to, I won't force it." After all, the children were still very young, and if their parents did not agree to it, he would not insist.
He was indeed curious about their parents.
"I'm willing!" Nina replied enthusiastically.
'Why not? I can help mommy earn some money.'
Jay was stunned for a moment but quickly regained his composure. "Your parents too?"
"We don't have a father, only Mommy, the Queen. Mommy Queen works really hard to support us. If we can earn money for Mommy, she won't have to work so hard."
'No father?'
Jay's heart sank.
"What does your mommy do?" Jay asked again.
Casper propped his head up with both hands and grinned, saying, "Our mommy is incredible. She's a designer!"
