The next day, Olivia ended up waking up late. She still had to go to work and since she didn’t migrate with her phone, there was no alarm to wake her up. When she opened her eyes, she saw that Alexander was looking at her in confusion. As if wondering how she got there in the first place. “Did you sneak into my bed last night?” he asked, his voice husky from sleep. “Yes. I have to go. I’ll be late for work,” Olivia said and scrambled out of his arms. Before she could get off the bed, he caught her arm, and she turned to look at him in confusion. “I called in sick for you. You should take a break today,” Alexander said and Olivia, who was afraid of being late, was stunned for a while. “Sleep in today. Tomorrow, you can go to work. You look like a mess,” he continued to say. Because of all the crying she did yesterday, one could imagine how she looked.
