It was another Sunday afternoon when Olivia was sitting in the general ward with Sara while peeling her an apple. She looked at the most important person in her life and felt her heartache when she saw how much weight she lost during this time. She was very frustrated by the fact that her condition didn’t seem to be improving even though she was receiving treatment. The doctors had told her for Sara to recover; she needed to get a kidney transplant, a procedure that was too expensive for her who was depending on her husband to survive. “I think we should move to a better hospital,” Olivia said to Sara, dissatisfaction written all over her face. “There’s no need. I’m doing fine here,” Sara said. She knew that the only person who was running up and down for her was Olivia. So she couldn’t help but feel guilty about the burden Olivia took on before she was even self-sufficient. She didn’t want to burden her further than she already was. “I’ll find a way.
