Third Person's POV
Richard let out a cold laugh. "The unattainable is always the best. I did love a woman once, but she had poor taste—she chose someone else."
Nick suddenly asked, "The man she loved, was it Marc?"
Richard's face darkened instantly, a shadow crossing his eyes. "What do you know?"
Nick replied calmly, "Not much. I just saw those photos you kept. But I do know one thing—the woman wasn't the one Marc cheated with later."
The car fell silent. Richard turned to stare out the window, his pride wounded as his son exposed his past.
