In fact, this was not the first time Jefferson had bitten Adrienne's face.  However, he had never bitten her this hard before. It used to be just a joke and Adrienne never felt pain from it, so she had never gotten that angry.  The reason she was angry right then was mainly because of Jefferson's tone.
