Chapter 5 Have a Child for Myron
In the living room of the Quigley family's old house.
"Grandma, it's getting late. I have to to send food to my parents in the hospital."
Josie, who was forcibly taken to the Quigley family's old house, found a reason to leave.
Madam Quigley said kindly, "I have already sent someone to bring your parents to the Quigley family's private hospital. They are taken good care of. Don't worry."
Hearing this, Josie frowned and suddenly stood up. She asked, "Grandma, you took away my parents without asking me. Is this a threat?"
"What are you thinking?"
Madam Quigley laughed instead of getting angry. "Speaking of which, this is the fate between you and my grandson. You know, Myron, that damned brat, is not young anymore. I have never seen him with a woman, so I could only use unscrupulous methods to drug him. I originally planned to help Miss Samuel and Myron, but who knew that by accident, you took her place. Fortunately, you little girl are also not bad."
After listening to Madam Quigley's words, Josie finally understood why Myron was drugged.
It was because she and that bastard had a bad relationship in the last life!
"I..."
Just as Josie was about to say something, an old butler with a head full of silver hair walked in. "Madam, Young Master is here."
"Get that damn brat to get the hell in here."
"Yes, Madam." The butler turned and walked out.
Then, Myron, dressed in a silver suit, walked in.
He looked straight at Josie and then looked at Madam Quigley, "Grandma."
"You still know how to come back?"
Madam Quigley teased, then pointed to Josie, "I will introduce someone to you..."
"Grandma, wait. Let me introduce you to my girlfriend first."
"Girlfriend?"
Madam Quigley was surprised.
Josie was even more surprised. God knew how wronged she was.
Only if Madam Quigley knew a little more about her grandson, she would not lose her innocence!
"Come on in,"
Myron said to the door.
Several people looked outside, and then they saw a woman in a blue dress with a pleated skirt, walking in with her head lowered.
However, why was her figure so familiar?
"She is my girlfriend, Leah," Myron introduced to Madam Quigley.
Hearing the name 'Leah', Josie's head buzzed and she was stunned.
When she looked at Leah, Leah also looked up at her.
The two sisters looked at each other, unable to hide the surprise in their eyes. They had the same doubt in their hearts.
Why was she here?
Why was she here?
"Isn't this Langi City's famous girl, talented and beautiful Miss Lewis, Leah? What method did you use to persuade her to pretend to be your girlfriend?"
The older the ginger, the spicier it was.
Madam Quigley was right.
"Hello, Grandma Quigley." Leah greeted her politely.
"A week ago, I was in a car accident. It was Leah who saved me. When she saved me from the car, I gave her the Quigley family's ancestral ring. Grandma, you should know what this ring represents."
As Myron spoke, he raised his left hand, showing the ring he was wearing.
Josie looked at the black diamond-shaped ring and suddenly remembered. No wonder there was a ring in her pocket after saving Myron that day.
It turned out that Myron had stuffed it into her pocket when he was saved.
But the next day, the ring disappeared after Leah appeared.
At that time, she was wondering where the ring went, but now it seemed that Leah had long known that the real owner of the ring was Myron, so she stole it!
Josie stood up, "That ring is..."
"Josie, why are you here? I didn't expect to meet you here."
Leah suppressed the great shock in her heart. She grabbed Myron's wrist and quickly interrupted Josie, "Josie, he is the one I told you about, the one I 'risked my life' to save."
Then she turned to Myron, "Myron, her name is Josie. She is a friend I met when I delivered takeouts to experience life."
Her 'shameless' nonsense really made Josie disgusted.
There was even a moment when Josie really wanted to stand up and tear apart Leah's hypocritical' ugly mask,' but when she thought about it carefully, she held back.
The only thing that could prove that she had saved Myron was the ring, as well as the name and surveillance video left in the hospital.
However, Leah stole the ring without revealing anything and deceived Myron, she must have investigated the surveillance video and made a thorough preparation.
I'm afraid the surveillance video has already been destroyed by the Lewis family.
If she stood out to confront Leah, even if she removed her makeup, there would be no evidence to prove that she had saved Myron, and would instead provoke a lot of trouble.
It would be better to wait and see.
"Is that so?"
Myron's long and narrow eyes sized up Josie, and his gaze became deeper and deeper.
"Josie, what a coincidence. I didn't expect to meet you here. Do you know Myron?"
Leah remembered that Myron said that his grandmother had arranged a marriage for him.
Could it be that the person introduced was Josie?
But how could she know the Quigley family?
Leah felt uneasy.
Josie was too lazy to pay attention to Leah who was addicted to acting. Instead, she said to Madam Quigley, "Grandma, Young Master Quigley already has a girlfriend. I have nothing to do here. I will go back first."
She was testing Madam Quigley's attitude to make the next move.
In the face of the strong and ruthless Myron, as well as the Lewis family who would always use her adoptive parents as a threat, Josie had to be cautious.
Seeing that she was about to turn around and leave, Madam Quigley got up and grabbed Josie's hand. "Girl, don't be so impulsive. Sit down first."
She pulled Josie to sit on the chair and then said to Myron sternly, "You little rascal, come with me!"
"Yes, Grandma."
Myron responded and followed Madam Quigley to the chamber, but he did not forget to give Josie a meaningful look.
With a squeak, the door of the chamber closed.
Leah could no longer hold back her anger. She took three steps forward and whispered, "Josie, you bitch..."
Pa, pa -
Before she could finish her sentence, Josie raised her hand and gave Leah two slaps. "What else do you know other than 'the mean words' every day? Oh, right, you also steal credit and pretend to be goody-two-shoes. Don't you agree, sister?"
