Chapter 32
"He's here." Ella nodded.
"Well, I'm going to talk to him about something." I pointed to Galvin's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in." Galvin's voice sounded cold and distant. I immediately pushed open the office door and walked in.
Galvin stared at the computer screen without any expression, not even lifting his head. I hesitated, feeling like I might be disturbing him, but since I was already here and back to work today, I thought I should at least inform Galvin, as a matter of courtesy.
I noticed that Galvin didn't look at me, so I had to speak up on my own. "Mr. Lu."
Galvin heard my voice and his hand holding the mouse trembled. He quickly clicked a few times and relaxed when he saw that it was me. "You're back?" Galvin's gaze burned with intensity as he looked at me, still with little expression on his face. He asked, "How are you feeling? Are you better now?"
"Thank you for your concern, I'm better now." I smiled.
