Viola said, "It seems you've already made your decision." Vivian took a deep breath. Viola smiled gently and, without waiting for Vivian to respond, vanished immediately. Staring at the space before her, Vivian felt a momentary sense of disorientation. Suddenly, she wasn't sure if what she had just seen was really Viola. Or if it was just a product of her thoughts, a dream born from the day's worries, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. As she struggled to separate reality from dream, her attention was drawn to the faint glow coming from the bundle on the table. She quickly got out of bed and walked over to it. When the bundle was opened, a faint glow started emanating from the copper mirror inside. Without the fabric to shield it, the light from the copper mirror became almost blinding. She squinted her eyes. "What's going on with the copper mirror?" She reached out and touched the surface of the copper mirror. To her surprise, the mirror felt warm to the tou
