"Caroline, after all these years, are you still holding a grudge against me?" 　　 　　Caroline chuckled, saying nothing. 　　 　　Facing Caroline's indifferent attitude, Carlos showed no sign of displeasure. Instead, he politely summoned the waiter and ordered a latte for Caroline. 　　 　　"I remember back in college, you liked lattes, right?" Carlos asked with a smile. 　　 　　Caroline remained silent until the waiter placed a latte in front of her. She then looked up at Carlos. 　　 　　"People's tastes change," Caroline said coldly. "I used to be naive and content with what I had, but now I see things differently." 　　 　　As Caroline uttered those words, cracks appeared in Carlos's smiling facade. 　　 　　"Caroline," Carlos said somewhat despondently, "I thought we could go back to how things used to be." 　　 　　"What?" Caroline thought she misheard. "Carlos, are you kidding me?" 　　 　　Carlos looked at Caro
