Chapter 38 Receiving Clients

　　 　　 　　Today's workload was relatively light, and Caroline found it quite easy. During a break, she even managed to chat with Luna for a few minutes. 　　 　　"Luna, what time did you get back last night?" Luna asked, sounding concerned. "I messaged you, but you didn't reply." 　　 　　Caroline looked apologetic. "I got back really late last night, so I overslept this morning and didn't get to check my phone." 　　 　　"Oh, okay," Luna said with a pat on Caroline's shoulder. "Take care of yourself, alright?" 　　 　　Caroline exchanged a few more words with Luna before Bram entered the office. 　　 　　Seeing Bram's figure through the window, Caroline whispered to Luna, "I have to go back now." 　　 　　"Sure, go ahead," Luna replied. 　　 　　Caroline hurried back to her desk, but before she could settle in, Bram addressed her, "Caroline, you'll need to accompany me to receive our partners later." 　　 　　"What?" Caroline was stunned in place. 　　 　　Bram thought he had made himself clear enough
