Chapter 163: Lunch Together

　　 　　 　　Alan rested his hands behind his head, speaking casually, “Great—dear Secretary Caroline, I’ll be relying on you from now on.” 　　 　　“Huh, of course,” Caroline replied through gritted teeth. 　　 　　Alan sat at his desk, bored and playing on his phone. After an hour, he couldn’t stand it anymore and went to Caroline’s office area. 　　 　　Seeing Caroline focused on her computer, Alan stood behind her silently, watching. 　　 　　Kelly noticed Alan first. 　　 　　She gently nudged Caroline’s arm. 　　 　　Caroline looked at her curiously. 　　 　　Kelly gestured behind her. 　　 　　Caroline turned and saw a figure standing there. 　　 　　She jumped in surprise. 　　 　　Not wanting to chase him away, she patiently asked, “Young master, is there something you need?” 　　 　　Alan frowned and said, “Secretary Caroline, call me by my name at work.” 　　 　　Caroline stopped her work and stood up. “Is there something I can help you with?” 　　 　　Alan stepped back and said, “You can keep working.”
