The Nosebleed

For a moment, Sean was a little confused, his fingers twitching as he held his phone. He tried his best to calm himself down, adjusted his breathing and mood. Daisy should be fine now. Hazel was right under his nose. If she did anything, Yosef would know. She had been here all day, except for a trip to school, and hadn't been in contact with anyone suspicious. "What's wrong?" Hazel looked at him puzzledly. She was really good at acting. Sean narrowed his eyes and said bluntly, "Daisy hasn't returned home yet. Her mother wants me to go over and have a look." He didn't say Daisy was missing or that he wanted to find her. Hazel's face froze as she stuttered, "Really? In fact, at Daisy's age, it's very common for her to go out with her friends." Sean fell silent, not commenting on it. "I'm leaving." "Wait," Hazel called out to him and took two steps forward. She took the jacket from his hand and lowered her head meekly. "I'll help you."
