Child
Justin put Anne on the ground and helped Shawn up. "Are you OK?"
"Um." Shawn sat up and shook his head feebly. "I'm fine."
Justin took a look at Anne and asked in a deep voice, "Can you still drive? This place is not far from your home."
Shawn was surprised. "Are you leaving?"
"Yes." Justin nodded. "He hasn't left for long. I can still catch up with him now. But I can't delay."
"But." Shawn was puzzled. "Anne hasn't waken up yet. Are you really leaving now?"
Justin lowered his eyes to hide his disappointment. "You are safe now. You can take care of her. There is nothing to worry about."
"I mean, don't you wait for her to wake up?" Shawn shook his head. "I think you have something to tell her. If you don't say it, she won't know. She's simpler than she used to be."
Justin didn't expect Shawn to say such words to him, so he patted him on the shoulder with appreciation.
"Even though you're a bit pedantic and weak, you're an open and straightforward man. It's good for Anne to choose you."
