Savannah went to Hilda's tomb with Walden.
Walden learned last night that Hilda had passed away. They had never seen each other again since they parted ways in Texas four years ago. He did not expect that they would meet again on such an occasion and in such a manner.
Walden stood in front of her tomb with complicated feelings. Although she was selfish and made many mistakes, she was his ex-wife.
"Ah..." Walden sighed with emotion. He squatted down and reached out his hand to caress Hilda's photo on the tombstone. "You can rest assured now. You don't have to scheme and cheat anymore, and you don't have to worry about someone stealing your things either."
Walden couldn't bear it. Hilda used to lie to him, but he still shed tears sadly when he saw her tomb.
"Dad." Savannah squatted down to hold her father. "Don't be sad. You're in poor health. The doctor said that you can't be excited."
