The So-Called Improvisation
The atmosphere was a little awkward in the room. Callan Handerson coughed lightly, tilted his chin and gestured at Savannah Lea. "Ahem, it's time for dinner."
"Oh." Savannah pursed her lips as she prepared the table, putting the dishes that she brought onto the table one by one.
"Let's eat!"
She handed a set of cutlery to Callan, but he did not take them.
"You... you're asking me to do it myself?" Callan looked at the cutlery, amused.
Savannah blinked and nodded. "Of course, if not then what else?" She thought silently.
Callan frowned and didn't utter a word.
"..." Savannah was baffled. What was he insinuating?
Callan dismissed the astonishment in Savannah's eyes, thinking that she might not have caught on so he gestured again, this time with his eyes, "I'd like a sip of the soup, please."
