Reconcilation
Liam Quentin greeted her. "Savannah... I... I thought you wouldn't come."
Savannah ignored him and went to the bed to see Mrs. Quentin. She was getting an infusion and it seemed that she had fallen asleep. Savannah lowered her voice and asked, "What's the problem? What did the doctor say? Is it serious?"
"Her blood pressure increased all of a sudden because I angered her," explained Liam in a weak voice.
"What?" Savannah was puzzled. "You're the one who pissed her off? What did you do to make Auntie so angry? You know she's in poor health, so couldn't you be more considerate?"
Liam was waiting for Savannah to say what she just did, hence, he took the opportunity to hold Savannah's hand tightly and prayed, "I told my mother that I made a mistake and drove you away... She got so angry that her blood pressure increased! She also said that if I don't get you back, she would disown me!"
"Let go..." Savannah tried to push him away and frowned.
