I'm Doing It On Purpose

Savannah Lea stood there with her hands twisting around themselves nervously ... She was surprised to have this woman just glare at her like that. "Hello." Although she couldn't figure out why the woman was hostile towards her, the people here were all seniors to her. Savannah nodded to the woman with embarrassment. However, the woman merely glared at Savannah again, and her eyes were full of resentment and hatred! "Come out later, I'll hand over my work to you." The woman said fiercely. "Huh?" Savannah did not understand what she meant. What did she mean by handing over her job? What did she mean... But the woman had already walked out. "Come here." Callan Handerson's cold and low voice said to Savannah. Savannah walked over and stood in front of Callan as she lowered her head to look at her toes. "Do you know why you are here?" Callan felt that her careful look was too adorable. He had to hold it in to avoid laughing out loud. She nodded but then went on and shook her head instead. "Do you know why?" Callan repeated with a smile, and his eyes were filled with affection that he'd never experienced before. "I was supposed to be an intern in the design department, but I don't know why I was brought here." Savannah raised her head, and the sun shone into her eyes from the French window, forming an illusion across the room. "Oh, well." Callan looked like a sly fox. "Didn't you sign the contract from the HR department?" Savannah nodded and said, "I've signed it." She signed it as soon as she entered the HR department in the morning! "Well!" Callan gently touched his forehead and leaned on the back of the chair in an extremely joyous mood. "Did you not read clearly when you signed the contract? You didn't even know what you were here to do?" Savannah took a gulp. "What does he mean?" She thought. Then, she asked timidly, "May I ask, President, am I not going to the design department?" Callan sneered, "Do you think this is the design department?" "Private secretary." He then said these two words lightly and then stared at Savannah with his burning eyes. Private secretary? Savannah's eyes widened in shock and thought, "What did he mean?" "President, I don't quite understand." Savannah felt as if she had fallen into a trap, and a chill rose from her spine. He stood up and walked slowly towards Savannah. "From now on, you are my private secretary. You have to be familiar with all my affairs; including my work-related tasks and private matters; to arrange my work schedule as well as my life. You need to have the plans and arrangements sorted out every day. Anyone who wants to see me must have your consent. Also, you're responsible for my diet and lifestyle requirements." As he said this, he raised his eyebrows and looked at Savannah. "Do you understand?" Savannah was a little confused. Wasn't this equivalent to submitting herself to him all her 24 hours? But then she soon realized that he actually did this on purpose! "You... obviously did it on purpose!" She cried. Would the design department not be able to accommodate an intern in a big corporate like this? What's more, she was to be his private secretary? A rookie who had not even graduated yet, how could she get this position? Savannah was naive, but she was not stupid! Callan did not dodge the question. He gently nodded his chin and agreed, "That's right. I did it on purpose." "You!" Savannah clenched her fists in anger and her teeth trembled slightly. "Why?" "Why?" Callan felt it was funny. He approached Savannah step by step, held her by the waist, and lowered his head to approach her. "You don't know why? That night, I thought we were very well-matched. I want you." Savannah leaned against his solid chest and tried her best to refuse him. Her face had already turned red! Callan's overbearing yet staring eyes made her feel a deep sense of humiliation! "Yes, we had a one-night stand. There is nothing I can do even if you keep mentioning it over and over again! But... Do I look like the kind of woman whom you can do whatever you want with, using money? If that's what you think, then I can only tell you that you're wrong!" Savannah got rid of him and turned away to walk out. "Wait!" Callan's eyes narrowed slightly. "Where are you going? You have already signed the contract. If you want to leave now, according to the regulations, you must compensate me with 3 million dollars of penalty." "You!" Savannah turned around and glared at him. He looked calm and relaxed. She was so angry but was left with no choice! Why did she sign the contract in the morning? But who would have thought that she would be set up when she just applied for an internship? The joy of being accepted by D.S Corporations had now disappeared forever! "What do you think? Do you want to do it or not?" Callan leaned against his desk and was totally not worried that Savannah would have a second choice. Savannah clenched her fists and could only nod. She knew she couldn't let him get in her way so easily. He smiled with satisfaction. "Little girl, this is just the beginning, you don't want to be with me? Don't worry, one day you will climb onto my bed willingly, and you will be reluctant to get out of it!" ...... "Do you remember what I told you just now?" asked Shanee Hawkings. Shanee packed up a box and emptied the desk for Savannah Lea. The desk of the private secretary of the President was in the President's office, and they could see each other as soon as they lifted up their heads. However, Callan Handerson had gone to a meeting. Savannah did not follow him as she was required to do a handover with Shanee. "What do you mean?" Savannah was confused. Shanee didn't even explain anything properly to her. Although she had never worked as a secretary before, she understood that the secretary had to know the work and habits of her superior. But this former secretary had only told her the working hours, and she considered that as a handover? "Well, anyway, I have told you everything patiently and carefully. If you can't remember anything, it's because of your lack of comprehensive skills. I don't have more time to spend with you! There is still a pile of documents waiting to be handed over to you! Quick, the next one." Shanee smiled with a disdainful look. She pointed to the file behind her and said, "This is it." "Huh?" Savannah was angry. "Liam, how could you be so perfunctory? Why does it seem like you have a grudge against me? It's obviously the first that we have met." Savannah thought angrily. Just when Savannah was still trying to figure it out, the phone on the table rang. "Pick it up!" Shanee looked at Savannah as if she was watching a good show. "I..." Savannah almost lost her breath. "Liam, you are not going to care about anything at all now, are you?" She thought. So, she answered the phone helplessly, "Hello?" The phone call was from the meeting room. There was a document that needed to be sent to the meeting. Just now, the President had left in a hurry and forgot to take it with him. Savannah agreed on the phone while thinking, "What kind of document is it? It's the first day of work. Who would know what the bloody document was?" "Liam? What document is it?" Savannah suppressed her anger and asked Shanee for help. "I'm leaving. You can take your time." Shanee laughed wildly. She turned around and left with the cardboard box in her arms, leaving Savannah stunned on the spot! Had she just been bullied on the first day of work? It was too ridiculous, wasn't it?
