You're Not An Illegitimate Child

In the study room, all the students had their eyes on them. Savannah Lea pulled Liam Quentin with a flushed face and said anxiously, "Liam, get up quickly! What did you say? What's with the breakup?" "Savannah, are you promising not to break up with me?" Liam questioned. Savannah was clueless. "We have never been in a relationship, how can we be talking about breaking up?" She wondered. The trace of joy disappeared from Liam's face. "Savannah, are you really in a relationship with that man?" The students had begun to whisper and gossip. Savannah couldn't afford their secret discussions. She let go of her ego and said, "Liam, don't be crazy! How many times do I have to say this? We are not in any kind of relationship. It's completely useless to be pestering me like this!" "No, Savannah, I have broken up with Jeannie. I promise! I won't be half-hearted with you anymore!" Liam said. "What?" Savannah was stunned. Did he break up with Jeannie Newman already? "Liam!" Savannah was in a daze when Jeannie rushed in from the back door of the classroom. She grabbed Liam who was kneeling on the ground, and slapped him twice! "Liam, who the hell do you think you are? Do you think you can just break up with me whenever you want? Guess what, I don't agree!" Jeannie roared. After what Jeannie had done, the scene became even more chaotic. The quiet room was in an uproar. Savannah shook her head and quietly rushed out with her schoolbag amidst the messy scene. Savannah had been going through a really tough time recently. Betrayal from her partner, losing her virginity accidentally, "the kiss" video spreading, blackmails. Nothing had gone smoothly! Savannah walked along the stone path with her school bag and went deep into the woods. She was in a really terrible mood. She wanted to find a place where no one was around so that she could hide, and then... cry her heart out! "Ah..." Savannah cupped her hands around her mouth, shouted unscrupulously, and finally burst into tears. The more she cried, the sadder she felt. Her phone vibrated and rang in her school bag, but she didn't even realize. When she thought of taking it out, there were already 46 missed calls on her phone! Some were from Danica Rein, some from the dorm, and the others were from Walden George. She wiped her tears away and called Danica. "Hello." "Damn girl? Where have you been? The principal has come to look for you in the dormitory! You are so screwed. The school must have found out the incident of 'the kiss' and they're going to punish you badly!" "The principal?" Savannah was stunned and asked hurriedly, "Do you mean Principal George?" "Yea..." Savannah hung up the phone in a hurry and immediately called Walden on the phone. As soon as the phone was connected, she began to yell, "Principal George, what are you doing in my dormitory? Don't you think it's embarrassing? Everyone knows that you have a beautiful wife and an adorable daughter, but they don't know that you have an illegitimate child like me!" "Savannah, how are you an illegitimate child? You are my daughter." Walden tried to calm Savannah down. "Shut up!" "Where are you? Daddy wants to send you money. You wanted 150,000 dollars in the last time. I have prepared it for you." "..." Savannah stopped talking. She hated him, but there was no need for her to go against money, especially with 150,000 dollars. Without the 150,000 dollars, she would have to betray her dignity and be with a stranger. "I'm in the campus woods," Savannah replied. "Okay, Daddy will be there right away!" Walden said. When they hung up, Savannah realized her eyes were teary and she felt a bit touched. Walden soon arrived in the woods. Seeing how he was panting, he had obviously been running over. He took out a card from his wallet and handed it to Savannah. "Here, there are 200,000 dollars in this card. You can use it. I will transfer money to this card every month in the future." Savannah took the card but couldn't get herself into saying, "thank you". Walden wiped the sweat on his forehead and looked at his daughter carefully. He asked, "Savannah, can I ask if you are going to do something bad with the money?" "Do something bad with it?" Savannah sarcastically said to Walden and continued, "What do you consider as good? And what do you consider as bad? You haven't cared about me for over ten years, so I don't advise you to worry about me in the future either. Don't worry, I won't complain about you to my mother even if I meet her in heaven in the future. I don't think she wants to know anything about you anyway!" At the mention of his passed away wife, Walden's expression changed. Seeing his reaction, Savannah felt as if her heart had been pinched hard. Walden smiled awkwardly and said, "Daddy is just concerned about you. No matter when, you are still my good daughter." "Tsk!" Savannah smacked her lips impatiently. "Aren't you done talking yet?" "Okay, okay, I won't say anything." Walden quickly shut up and said, "Daddy is going to have a meeting soon, so I have to leave now." Walden turned around. Looking at his bent back, Savannah's heart ached even more... The three-day deadline had arrived. Savannah arrived at the back door of the school according to the appointed time, where she met Callan Handerson the last time. Along the way, Savannah Lea felt that someone was following her. She turned around quickly and yelled, "Who's that? Come out!" "Sav... Savannah, it's me." Liam Quentin stammered as he moved to Savannah's side. Savannah let out a long sigh. She had no idea what to do with him! "Liam! Liam! I beg you. Don't you think it's embarrassing enough to be making all this fuss? Please let me go and stop haunting me from now on!" "Savannah, I didn't lie to you. You saw it last time, too. I have really broken up with Jeannie." Liam raised his head and looked at Savannah. Savannah was shocked. "What's wrong with him? Why is his face bruised?" "What's wrong with your face? How did you get hurt?" Savannah panicked and reached out to touch Liam's face. "I'm asking you? Are you deaf?" Liam grabbed Savannah's hand and said, "It was Jeannie. She said I tricked her! There are more than these bruises, she found some people to beat me and I've got bruises all around my body.” "Let me see!" Savannah carefully touched the bridge of Liam's bruised nose, it hurt so much that Liam let out a soft cry. "Does it hurt?" Savannah asked. Liam shook his head and then nodded. "A little bit. It hurt even worse yesterday, but it's much better today." "Why did she hit you?" Savannah shouted angrily, "I can't even get myself to hit you myself! Where else did she hit you? Let me see." Out of embarrassment, Liam scratched his face and said, "My body too." Savannah pulled up his T-shirt and was about to take a look, but then Liam grabbed her and pulled her close to his mouth, kissing her gently. Two bright lights shone in from the school gate. Savannah looked over and was a black Rolls-Royce. It was very far away and the windows were closed tightly. But Savannah could still feel, that it was Callan who was in the car. "Wait for me here!" Liam grabbed hold of Savannah and said, "Savannah, don't go!" Savannah struggled as she shrieked, "Let me go." "No! Savannah, you obviously still like me! Please don't go with that man." Liam yelled. Savannah didn't know how to react. How could she explain it to this fool jerk boy? "Let me go first." Savannah continued. The eight bodyguards rushed towards them and successfully stopped Liam. Seeing his tearful look, Savannah shook her head helplessly and walked to the Rolls-Royce.
