Vivienne's POV
It was getting late, and just as I was about to stand up and leave, I turned to Alexander and said, "I’ll pack my things and move out tomorrow."
"No need," he replied softly. "The Divorce Settlement Agreement still stands. The Crescent Estates will be yours. I’ll move out."
I shook my head. "Take it back. If you don’t want it, I’ll have someone help me sell it."
When we signed the Divorce Settlement Agreement, I wanted that villa. It held the memories of the three years we spent together. I wanted to keep it, to slowly reminisce about those times, and I didn’t want Isabella to take it over in the future.
But now, I didn’t want the villa anymore. The memories only brought pain and regret.
If I’ve decided to let go, then I’ll let go completely.
"I’m leaving now."
I grabbed my bag and walked out of the hospital room.
