After hanging up the phone, Serena immediately went downstairs to find Nathan. She learned from Nathan that no one in the Harrington family currently needed a kidney transplant. Her brow furrowed; the attending doctor wouldn't lie to her.
"Nathan, go to the Hustleburg General Hospital for me and find out who took the person away. This is my granny's only hope, and I can't afford to miss it."
Granny's condition had dragged on for too long, coupled with her rare blood type. Missing this opportunity meant she might have at most two months left.
