Even though Amia knew there was little hope, she placed all her faith in Steve. However, Steve couldn’t believe Amia’s words. Did she really think he was helping her because he wanted something in return? It puzzled him. "Is that what you think of me? That I’m only helping you because I want something from you?" Steve asked, his confusion evident. "Isn’t that the case? Otherwise, why would you help me?" Amia replied, her frustration clear. "If you don’t want something from me, then there must be some other reason." Amia was desperate. She couldn’t understand why Steve, someone so powerful, would help her without any hidden agenda. "I’m helping you because I want to, not because I expect anything in return. Do I need an excuse to help someone? It’s not about th
