In Mr. David's opinion, a partner with a harmonious family was the most trustworthy person to partner up with, which is why Christian called his family up early in the morning. Christian had to admit that there was some truth in what his children were saying, but he had his own considerations. "Listen to me, leave your anger and frustrations here. She wanted to push Marian back into the basement, but she instead asked, "Marian, are you messing with us? Didn't the servant tell you it was an important banquet? Why are you still dressed like a beggar?" The servant who was responsible for calling Marian heard Ruby's complaints and he hurriedly explained with a flustered face. "Lady Ruby, I told her, but Lady Marian wouldn't listen to me!" Marian lowered her head and glanced at her clothes. The simple white shirt and jeans were comfortable and casual. She didn't see any problem. She looked up at everyone, but she found that everyone was looking at her with a disgusted look, including Christian.
